 For True Sconnoisseurs...Hi - My name is Jackie. I own a cafe and sandwich shop with my husband Colin. We started two and a half years ago, we sold the usual cheese, fruit and cherry scones, I thought I would like to try something different - so I set about thinking up scones .
Thinking 10 varieties would be different - but it got 15 then 20 then customers would suggest types of scones. So it just got more and more! I now have 99 varieties with 9 ideas for my 100th scone.
The name SCONE MAD came about became when we are looking for scones in the kitchen for customers - from all the varieties it drives us mad!
I have always loved baking from a small child I used to help my mother. I hope you enjoy our scones - and we'd love to hear from you if you have ideas for new and exciting flavour combinations!
